Mike Campbell

Born and raised in Halifax, Mike Campbellis a Gaelic learner and an active member of theGaelic community here. Mike is currently board chair of Sgoil Ghàidhlig an ÀrdBhaile / theGaelic Language Society of Halifax. Mike is keen on reclaiming his ancestral language, andworks to help promote an open and welcoming Gaelic community here in HRM. Mike lovesGaelic song and counts Runrig as one of his all time favourite bands.

Nick Nickerson

Nick Nickerson is a Gaelic learner based in Halifax and co-founder of the Gaelic BusinessInitiative, a not-for-profit organization that aims to promote Gaelic through integration withbusiness. A drinker of IRN-BRU and an amateur Scottish hillwalker he actively tries to findany excuse to go to an t-seann dùthaich (the Old Country, or Scotland), whether for work orplay.
